The Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia was formed in 1998 to maintain, improve and develop the standards, status and services of Bloodstock Agents throughout Australia and to present and promote the views of its members.

The Federation is the best point of contact for people requiring advice and guidance with their thoroughbred racing and breeding operations.  Our members operate with the utmost integrity and professionalism; members are bound by the strict FBAA Code of Ethics held to account via a complaints system; and also abide by the Industry Code of Conduct.

There are currently 27 accredited members who are available to assist in the sale and purchase of bloodstock as well as assisting in matters pertaining to bloodstock valuations, consultancy, management, matings advice, insurance, shipping, and other related matters.

FBAA in the News

The year 2015 has started off on a very positive note with the MM Gold Coast Yearling Sale which has grossed more than 100 million over the 6 day sale. Managing Director Vin Cox said the result places MM and the Australian bloodstock industry among the world leaders. Our members were again busy at the sale with 8 individual members purchasing a total of 21 lots and spending over $3 million.
