The Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia was formed in 1998 to maintain, improve and develop the standards, status and services of Bloodstock Agents throughout Australia and to present and promote the views of its members.
The Federation is the best point of contact for people requiring advice and guidance with their thoroughbred racing and breeding operations. Our members operate with the utmost integrity and professionalism; members are bound by the strict FBAA Code of Ethics held to account via a complaints system; and also abide by the Industry Code of Conduct.
There are currently 26 accredited members who are available to assist in the sale and purchase of bloodstock as well as assisting in matters pertaining to bloodstock valuations, consultancy, management, matings advice, insurance, shipping, and other related matters.
FBAA in the News
Everyone is heading up to the Gold Coast for the National Weanling Sale on Sunday 24th May and Monday 25th May; followed by the National Broodmare Sale on Wednesday 27th May to Sunday 31st May. Our members were prominent at the 2014 sales and with over 400 weanlings and 900 broodmares to be sold we expect members will be prominent at both sales again this year.
