  Membership Criteria

For membership to the Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia Ltd  we require that your proposer (being an existing member) applies in writing to the President, Mr. Tim Stewart, stating that you meet all the membership criteria, as listed below, and have been seconded by a further member of the Association.  A

Membership Application Form should also be completed by the Applicant - form should be obtained from your proposer or alternatively the Secretary at tracyhow@bigpond.net.au

There is a joining fee of $2000 per member and an annual subscription fee, currently set at $400 p.a.

The membership criteria is as follows:-

1.      A minimum of five (5) years professional involvement in the agency field.

2.      Operation of own Bloodstock Agency for a minimum of two (2) years.

3.      The Bloodstock Agent should act primarily as an agent and consultant, and not as a dealer or public syndicator of bloodstock.

4.       Agreement to comply with the Code Of Ethics.

Each application for membership will be included on the Agenda of the next scheduled meeting, and will be discussed at such meeting. 

Discretion exists, in exceptional circumstances, to waive or vary any of the normal membership criteria, if agreed by members present

at such meeting.
