Sky-high April for Blue Sky

Blue Sky Bloodstock continued its stellar season in April with three stakes winners and another three stakes placings.

It has been a busy few weeks for the Blue Sky team with the culmination of the Inglis Easter Sales set among three weeks of great racing at Randwick.

Blue Sky (FBAA) managing director Julian Blaxland has been particularly active at all major yearling sales in 2018 in its role as resident bloodstock agency for Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.  In total, 108 yearlings were purchased at prices ranging from $35,000 to $1.20 million.

Blaxland believes it’s the stable’s most exciting spread of yearlings and early reports from the breakers at Evergreen Farm have been very positive.  "I am extremely proud of the group of babies we have purchased on behalf of Gai and Adrian and their clients.  There is a price point for everyone, different types to suit different races, including a number of all ladies syndicates.”
