FBAA Members Active at Easter

Spirits were high following the 2025 Inglis Eater Sale bringing a close to the year’s first quarter of Australia’s major yearling sales with impressive results obtained by FBAA members.     

For the 336 lots sold (421), the sale grossed $151m ($152m) with an impressive clearance rate of 87% (80%) at an average of $448,259 ($426,447) and a median of $355,000 ($300,000).            

FBAA members spearheaded the purchase of 52 yearlings, accounting for over 13% of the quantity of stock sold and over 13% of the gross. On further breakdown, 8 members secured purchases totalling over $1m with 5 of those members totalling over $2m. Jim Clarke lead the highest member purchase total, just shy of $3m and Satomi Oka had the highest member, individual purchase of $1.4m.
