FBAA Members buy up at Magic Millions National

The ever popular Magic Millions Broodmare Sale remained competitive with Zougotcha realising $5.24m, making her the most expensive purchase within the Southern Hemisphere for the 2025 sales season.     

  

For the 357 lots sold (536), the sale grossed $87m ($98m) with a clearance rate of 79.2% (83.9%) at an average of $242,768 ($205,658) and median of $85,000 ($95,000).  In comparison to 2024, there were 118 less lots sold and no record breaking Imperatriz which realised $6.6m with sales statistics remaining strong for the 2025 sale.          

            

Contributing to these results, FBAA member purchases totalled $14.5m and accounted for 17% of the gross with 49 lots secured.  Seven members totalled over $1m in client purchases with Andrew Williams Bloodstock ranking top 10 in the Magic Millions purchasers and lead the FBAA member buyers table with $2.6m.  Astute Bloodstock was a close second with four lots purchased for a total of $2.4m.
