FBAA Members 19% at Premier

The 2026 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale yielded strong results with 425 lots sold, grossing $61.4m, surpassing last year’s result by $7.6m whilst maintaining the same clearance rate of 81%. As a result, an increased average of $144,569 and median of $120,000 was achieved.

FBAA members were equally strong, contributing with the purchase of 61 yearlings which accounted for 19% of the gross and 14% of the quantity of the stock sold.

Five members made purchases totalling over $1m on behalf of clients with Suman Hedge and Jim Clarke leading the FBAA buyer’s table with purchases totally $1.3m each.
